Thank You Lord

Every now and then, the Lord places a song in your heart before you even realize you need it.

Recently, in a quiet moment of reflection, I felt a strong pull to simply tell God, “Thank You.” This year has held more challenges than I expected, and I could sense spiritual pressure trying to weigh me down. But in that moment, God reminded me: gratitude is warfare.

I began remembering how earlier this year I faced a health scare that could have changed my life—but God said no. Then I recalled other valleys and difficult seasons, and how the Lord brought me through each one.

And when I started remembering, I started thanking.
And when I started thanking, this song came.

The melody.
The arrangement.
The testimony.

Sometimes the most powerful prayer you can offer is just tears mixed with “thank You, Lord.”

If you’ve ever been in that place—when all you can do is trust God anyway—I hope this song encourages you the way it encouraged me.
