Donovan M. Neal is an independently published author whose work brings together Christian faith, epic fantasy, and imaginative world-building. He is the author of The Third Heaven, a four-book series exploring the fall of Lucifer and the conflict between good and evil.
His writing spans fiction, nonfiction, and graphic storytelling, with worlds ranging from the celestial realms of The Third Heaven to the fantasy of Hutari. Music and essays offer other ways to explore the themes that run through his work: faith, creativity, purpose, and the human experience.
Donovan holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a graduate degree in Nonprofit Management from Walden University. He served in ordained ministry from 1993 to 2011, drawing on extensive experience teaching the Bible.
